Coach Eric Tinkler's side has had a good showing in the Nedbank Cup so far, making it all the way to the final against SuperSport United, which will be played this weekend, and some of their supporters are confident they can do the job.
This season has been rather disappointing for football games the Orlando Pirates faithful as their team failed at the final hurdle in continental competition as well as in the league, finishing in seventh spot on the log. However, there is still one chance of silverware for the Mighty Bucs, and they will be looking to grab it with both hands.
"This will be a different game on Saturday, we'll leave the past weekend's encounter behind us (Pirates drew 2-2 with SuperSport)," Bucs fan Joyce "Mama Joy" Chauke said.
"We will beat SuperSport and the free online games will finish in 90 mins."
If Pirates win the Nedbank Cup, they will be back in continental competition next season, something their supporters are well aware of.
"Yes, we are aiming to go back into Africa. We are the only South African team that does well in CAF, and SuperSport won't be able to put our country on the map," Mama Joy concluded.
