Losing To Chiefs In November

November saw the first Soweto Derby of the season take place – a Telkom Knockout quarter-final between Pirates and rivals Kaizer Chiefs. The match went to penalties, and after misses from fifa 16 coins Thandani Ntshumayelo and Siyabonga Sangweni, Pirates lost the encounter.

Manyisa's Injury

Oupa Manyisa picked up an injury against Polokwane City back in September, and failed to return before the end of the campaign. The team lost striker Kermit Erasmus in January, when he decided to take his career to France. Erasmus was one of Pirates' best attackers, and could have scored fut coins crucial goals for the club if he had seen out his contract.

The Last Five Matches

Pirates could have perhaps finished higher than seventh in the PSL had they been in better form in their last five matches of the league campaign, in which they failed to win a single game.
